Laurent Pellys funny and charming interpretation of La Fille du regiment has fast become one of the most popular of all Royal Opera productions, repeating its success worldwide.

It was the hottest ticket in town when it was first staged in 2007, and each return has proved it one of the most witty, stylish and fun events around. Donizettis comic masterpiece is full of great music, from the touching and sincere to the comic and quirky. Memorable and melodic, the score is packed with dazzling coloratura, beautiful solos and great choruses.
