Following her riotous production of King John for the World Shakespeare Festival, Maria Aberg takes the reins to direct this all-consuming production of As You Like it, Stratford-upon-Avon Banished from the oppressive court, Rosalind and Orlando have no choice but to run for their lives. Upon fleeing, they find themselves in the wildest depths of the Forest or Arden. Bursting into summer, Arden allows the pair to discover an unexpected and liberating freedom. It is there in the harsh wilderness that their destructive love story begins to unfold… In none other than Stratford-upon-Avon, the RSCs production of As You Like It allows you to experience a Shakespearean classic in the birthplace and writing spot of the famous playwright. Performances run all summer for your As You Like It theatre break, from 12 April - 28 September 2013. Performance times for As You Like it are as follows: Evenings - Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm Matinees - Thursday & Saturday at 1.00pm As You Like It Theatre Breaks always includes tickets with hotel accommodation, and the number of tickets you request must be the same as the number of hotel guests.
