Now a West End and Broadway sensation, the smash-hit comedy One Man, Two Guvnors comes to the Wales Millennium Centre in January 2013. Richard Beans slap-stick sensation first opened at the National Theatre in May 2011 and has been wowing audiences ever since. Set in Brighton in the 1960s, this hilarious production is an English adaptation of Venetian playwright Carlo Goldonis The Servant of Two Masters, written in 1743. Beans contemporary interpretation features a soundtrack by Grant Olding, and will star Welshman Owain Arthur as Francis Henshall when it arrives at the Wales Millennium Centre in the New Year. After working as his understudy, Arthur took on James Cordens former role of Francis for the shows run at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Arthurs comic timing perfectly suits the telling of Francis side-splitting endeavours as he takes on two bosses in his new job as a minder after being sacked from his skiffle band. A true rising star, Arthurs previous stage-work includes Hytners National Theatre production of The History Boys as well as Romeo and Juliet for the Royal Shakespeare Company. One Man, Two Guvnors - Cardiff Theatre Breaks always includes tickets with hotel accommodation, and the number of tickets you request must be the same as the number of hotel guests. Our selection of shakespeare plays and hotel packages are fantastic value, enjoy the perfomance.
