Two Roses for Richard III Theatre Break Package

Drawing inspiration from Shakespeare’s history plays, Two Roses for Richard III is an imaginative take on the events of the infamous War of the Roses. Brought to The Courtyard Theatre by the Brazilian theatre company Companhia BufoMecanica Two Roses for Richard III has been commissioned for the World Shakespeare Festival.

Blending circus and theatre with multimedia displays and aerial choreography Two Roses for Richard III presents a unique and fascinating performance. Directed by Claudio Baltar, from the circus companies Intrepida and Archaos, and Fabio Ferreira, two of Brazil's leading directors, Two Roses for Richard III is a superb adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s bloodiest plays.

Two Roses for Richard III will play at The Courtyard Theatre from the 7th May to the 12th May 2012. The play is performed in Portuguese with English Surtitles.
