As part of the London 2012 Festival the World Shakespeare Festival launches on April 23rd 2012. Embracing the multicultural appeal of Shakespeare’s work the Festival includes original Shakepeare productions alongside new plays that have been inspired by his work. A Soldier in Every Sun – An Aztec Trilogy is part of the Nations At War series of plays. Inspired by Shakespeare’s historical plays Richard III and King John A Soldier in Every Sun – An Aztec Trilogy chronicles the rise of the Aztecs from a small tribe in the Valley of Mexico to the rulers of a powerful empire. A Soldier In Every Son – An Aztec Trilogy is based on true events taken from the Aztec codices. A Soldier in Every Sun – An Aztec Trilogy will play at the Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon from the 29th June to the 28th July 2012. A Soldier in Every Son - An Aztec Trilogy Theatre Breaks always includes tickets with hotel accommodation, and the number of tickets you request must be the same as the number of hotel guests.
